Varsity Volleyball 🏐 traveled over to Stuart to face the latest addition to the Three Rivers District, Patrick County. The Family 👪 that is Carroll County Volleyball 🏐 was in full force and cheered on the Lady 👩 Cavaliers from start to finish !
Set #1 – CCHS hit the ground running 🏃♂️🏃♀️ and never took the foot of the accelerator in taking the opening set.
Set #2 – Patrick County continued to push our Ladies were up to the challenge 💪.
While the match ended in a sweep the Cavs trailed 20-16 in the close out set. 9-3 down the stretch!!!
Our Carroll County High School 🏫 Cavaliers are hosting two of our Three Rivers District neighbors today and we hope to capture as much of the day as possible !

One of the most enjoyable parts of trying to cover the Golf ⛳ team is 👀 seeing the number of Parents and Grandparents who come out to be there for their children.
Was just fortunate enough to share a brief moment with the Father 👨 of Trace Reavis. Dad was hustling out to catch the balance of the round. Having played years of High School Golf ⛳ without a single spectator makes me have even a greater appreciation for all of the folks that attend a Golf Match.
Bonus – the Middle School / 8th Grade instructor stopped by with some of his young ones and they are now out on the course trying to sneak a few holes in. #OurFuture

While there are many pieces to the thought process for Linda & I in regards to the Overall efforts of OneofUs.Care, the goals for the Carroll County Sports Report are quite simple and I happily explain them to people when the opportunity presents itself.
First & Foremost – every Post on the site has two non-negotiable rules. #1 – It has to be 100% Positive and #2 – it is designed to be consumed in under 3 minutes max. Folks are busy and nobody has the time to read a book 📖 everyday. Get in, try to make someone smile 😃 and get back out so they can get on with their busy lives.
Next – the difference between an On-Line Newspaper 📰 and a Blog is simple. Ours is a Blog because our intention is to spread joy and keep people informed. We are not trying to break stories or do deep dives into what’s wrong in the World. There’s simply too much of that already.
Why the non-stop wearing of the National Hockey 🏒 League jerseys ?
We are constantly trying to get more people on board with our efforts and the rotation of the 32 jerseys makes me more noticeable without being intrusive. I welcome the opportunity to share our vision with others and sometimes you absolutely hit the Jackpot ! The latest person to ask me about what we are doing was Kevin Burress and we have hit the Ground running 🏃♂️. Such a tremendous individual and so willing to pitch in!
Addie’s Grandmother (most people know her as Tammy) has been an absolute blessing!
