20 Student Athletes did their Team Proud yesterday afternoon !

Boss Man 👨 Kris Richardson is sending me on another errand tomorrow morning 🌄 but it will present time to work on Five Stories !!!

  1. The Harris Sisters both compete at Emory & Henry Wednesday.
  2. Coach Montgomery will have the results from the Track Meet for us to share!
  3. The official roll out of our Initial Carroll County Bobblehead !
  4. A look inside Carroll County High Golf ⛳ with new Coach Chase Robinson!
  5. Traveling to Chicago because Kris wants a slice of Pizza 🍕. But one does what the Boss says! Have a Blessed Night 🌙

Catching up with our Middle School 🏫, Varsity Girls 👧 and Varsity Boys 👦 Cross Country teams @ Hillsville Elementary School 🏫

In year 2 it was our Goal to spend at least one Day with each and every one of our School teams and we hit that mark minus one – the Cross Country program.

We completed the circuit in a big way as Carroll County hosted a meet for all three squads with Auburn, Bland County, Galax and Grayson County all on the Guest List.

Coach Montgomery and his wife Chenoa are responsible for the program top to bottom and handle the task with a great deal of Grace.

We look forward to doing our part in supporting their efforts by showing the Final results of EVERY Carroll Student Athlete that competes throughout the 2023-2024 season.

Hard working 💪 Alan Worrell is also at the meet so the program will receive some Top Shelf coverage.

Speaking of hard working our AD/Assistant Principal was tasked with directing traffic on the course.

The Middle School 🏫 race started at 5:00 with 28 runners 🏃‍♂️.

The Girls race started at 5:38 with 21 runners 🏃‍♂️ competing.

The Boys race started at 6:17….

The final race 🏁is wrapping up now and we will share the results with our readers from each race once they become available!

Great Appreciation for All of these dedicated Student Athletes 👏 and we hope to be able to track them to the end with the assistance of a dedicated Coach and his Bride 👰.

Solid Group of Young People !

Marion Harris checks in with a Night 🌙 of Volleyball 🏐 recap !

We tried to sprinkle a little extra atmosphere in Cindy Edwards Gymnasium, which of course sits inside Mr. Thompson’s School 🏫 House. We had some fun trying for sure and the first thing we need to do is say a HUGE Thank You to a three people that really helped out tonight.

This photo 📷 will be turned into a Poster that will allow us to Celebrate when the Lady 👩 Cavaliers are credited with an Assist ! The photo required a Little Old Grandmother being assisted across the crosswalk and my Softball Buddy that goes by Addie’s Grandmother was more than happy to help us out. People tell me that her real name is Tammy and she has a kinda important job in real life! The young man 👨 assisting her goes by the name of Laiken’s Brother.

The gentleman on the left in this Trio stole the show with his “Hulk Smash ” throughout the Varsity match! What a performance !!!

I will get a chance to send a Thank You 🙏 directly to the Carroll County High School Art Teacher, Shana Parnell as she created the four Aces Cards that we will be using all season to celebrate each and every Ace served up.

This group of Young Ladies have game and I was fortunate enough to watch them all last season. We just hope to make each of our eight Home matches as FUN for them because they deserve to enjoy their time on the floor.

Linda snuck in a few photos 📷 after helping us get the gift 🎁 bags 🎒 ready. Each of our 15 Varsity players added a Personal note 📝 to their Mom’s because CCHS Volleyball 🏐 is indeed about FAMILY 👪

Check out the height of the Ball before being struck !

The four Aces captured in Action !

Game On !

Air !!!

1 Lady 👩 Cavalier, 2 Lady 👩 Cavalier, 3 Lady 👩 Cavalier, all in a Row !

The team will be on the road for a spell but we are already looking forward to them returning Home 🏡 !

This last addition would normally end up on our WNBA page but its not everyday that one of the Stars of the Aces drops 53 points to tie the All-Time scoring record for the League.

Aja Wilson also put on a Show tonight !

Game On Girlfriend ! It’s Mom’s Night 🌙 in our Gymnasium !

We are “Set” to “Dig” some things out of the closet to “Assist” the atmosphere in the Gymnasium 2nite! We hope to “Kill” it with some help from our “Libero”……..

Everything that we experiment with tonight at the Varsity level will be available to the Junior Varsity team going forward, once Coach Petty picks out the things he would like for his youngsters.
