Clay Quesinberry (87) and Adison McGraw (83) both set new marks ! Seven teams were on the Course and the results are above. Top 4 scores count in the total for the team.
Working this week up in Luray, Virginia and was in need of a quick adjustment to our Van. A quick trip to the shop that kept our vehicles up and running during our decade plus stint in Page County.
While in the shop of Bennett & Butler Inc. I was getting caught up with Lori Spain and she was telling me about the latest way that her and her Daughter-in-Law have started since I visited last.
They are giving back to their Community by gathering Prom and Party dresses, fixing them up and making them available for young Ladies for their Big Night 🌙.
They are only asking for a $25.00 deposit that is refundable once the Dress 👗 has been returned.
Another great example of someone else who believes that we still can win the battle that is life if we take our skill sets and lend them out to others ! God Bless Lorie & Jen!! Keep up the Great Work….
Coach Edwards and our Lady 👩 Cavaliers will be playing at 10am, 11am and 2pm for sure in the Pool Play portion of the event. It is noted that after the teams first match the other contests are subject to starting earlier.
Matches will be Best 2 out of 3 instead of the normal 3 out of 5.
The Championship bracket contests will be played at 4pm and 5pm and if the Cavaliers advance they will wrap things up at 6pm.

Coach Edwards and I were discussing just how much there is to the game itself. This is relevant as we are trying to draw new fans into the Gymnasium in hopes they can appreciate just how talented our Ladies are.
Borrowing a page from Football when the Quarterback hooks up with the wide receiver for a Touchdown pass, that play worked because the five lineman protected the QB and the running back executed the fake handoff while the Tight End held his block.
The Hulk Smash gloves represent the end of a successful Kill. But the Kill cannot take place with the Dig
The Dig is followed by the Assist, which is also known as a set. For the play to end with a Hulk Smash it takes three of our six Ladies on the floor to execute, hence the reason for trying to acknowledge all 3 parts of the play.
Aces are AWESOME as well !

Marion was busy on Sunday afternoon in his efforts to get our youth further invested in Soccer. The World 🌎 of Soccer ⚽️ officiating!
Certification course got 14 here two from Carroll (USSF certification )
Alexis Sheffey and Callie Harris are the pair mentioned above.
One of the many challenges in Soccer as well as a few other Sports is a shortage of officials making it great to see new faces signing up !
