Positive news to report in regards on the soon to begin 2023-2024 Volleyball 🏐 season. Coach Edwards has reached out about the upcoming Home Matches (8 + 1 Scrimmage) and excited to report that we are going to team up in hopes of making the evenings as enjoyable for her hard working young Ladies as fun as possible !

In the World 🌎 of Fake News I could tell you that the negotiations lasted for days with her people hashing out the details with my people and we finally agreed on a deal for just over 7 figures.
The reality is my Wife and I are big fans of Coach and her program so when asked the conversation was a very short one. Everything gets kicked off 1 week from today (15th) with a scrimmage with Staunton River.

The question that I have in regards to our readers in Laurel Fork and the remainder of Carroll County is this – if there was going to be a Bobblehead created here, who would be the figure 🤔 most deserving the honor ???
In regards to Dallas today, the two young Ladies pictured above are my All-Time favorite Female Athlete and my All-Time favorite Duke player in the WNBA. Kelsey Plum and Chelsea Gray share the backcourt on the Las Vegas Aces and the team is both the Defending Champs 🏆 along with a 24-3 mark this season. I was fortunate enough to be in the building most nights 🌙 during Kelsey’s years at the University of Washington and my Amazement of her talent and competive drive still grows each season.
Chelsea is possibly the most energetic player in the league today and possesses a flair like Reggie Miller had in his prime. The combination of this Dynamic Duo along with Aja Wilson in the post 📫 gives the team a chance to add a second trophy 🏆 to the case here shortly.
The ever impressive guidance 🙏 of Kris Richardson makes days like today possible. If Kris continues to build on his foundation in Laurel Fork and CCHS he could cause a shift in our power structure, where Paul would become known as Kris’s Father-in-law.
The photo 📷 above shows the level of depth in the folks that spend a part of their lives being a part of Team Kris ! It’s an honor to be part of a team with the likes of Coach Nester and Ashton Richardson.

Both of the Ladies sparkled in the first half, combining for nearly 30 points. Aces jumped out to a 16-0 lead and never looked back.
Chelsea suffered an injury just before half and didn’t return. Kelsey added 5 more after the break as the Aces spread the Love 💘. Aja was simply Aja throughout !
