Tommy Caudill wakes ⏰ up every morning 🌄 with a plan in place to make someones day a little bit brighter. On Wednesdays Tommy climbs into his Mountain Lynx Transit shuttle Bus and heads out to Laurel Fork to play the roll of Choefur for our neighbors.
The service is provided at no cost to the passengers and takes place each and every Wednesday out our way. All that a passenger needs to do is call 📞 the day before to schedule a pick-up for Wednesday morning end then buckle up for a day of shopping 🛍 and errands in the town of Galax.
The service is impressive on its own merrit but its Tommy’s disposition that takes it to another level. Climb onto Tommy’s Bus 🚌 and he is going to treat you like part of his family 👪.
This morning I experienced his kindness first hand as along with four of his regular riders we set out to handle a number of errands with Wal-Mart being the centerpiece but a multitude of other stops designed to make life easier for the passengers on board.
As we search daily for folks that try hard to make the World 🌎 a Better Place sometimes its easier because one of them will simply show up at your front door 🚪.
