Corrie Delp and Laiken Burnett both played a large part of our adventures last season and there’s no reason to think they will slow down in 2023-2024.

We were fortunate enough to be in Lynchburg for the State Track and Field Meet as Corrie showed off her mad Hops and unlimited Speed.

Laiken has the Top Spot for last year as the Student Athlete I spent the most time covering. The 3 Sport efforts of Ms. Burnett had me in her presence over 40 times. Of course I have to add that if Laiken was performing then Mom and Dad 👨were happily in the stands supporting her latest efforts

Recent Carroll County graduate Lauren Alley will be dawning the School Colors down at Wise this coming season on the Softball diamond 💎 and it would appear that Jabin Talley could be the next CCHS graduate to head down to the Highlands.

Jabin and his Father / Coach Greg have been making the loops in Campus visits for most of the Summer. The latest stop had the pair down at UVA-Wise yesterday.

The experience was once again a pleasant one and it sounds like that our #1 Tennis 🎾 player would be Welcome if he chooses to head to the Hills. Plenty more pics to come later from the 4th visit this Summer !
