The Award Winners 🏆 from the Boys 👦 Basketball 🏀 Camp

Coach Barnes and Coach Richardson passed out a number of Awards at the end of camp Thursday. Here are the recipients. If a player appears more than once it is because he received more than one Award.

The number of participants was the highest to date for the current Coaching staff.

Day 4 of 4 was highlighted by the level of intensity on display during the games of 5 on 5.

It was great to see the Carroll News in the building for the Final Day !

AAU tryout dates were discussed as well for Grades 2 thru 6.

This young man 👨 was among the youngest of the Campers.

The energy on display from the current and former Cavalier players was a joy to take in.

Thursday’s events ran just a smidgen long but the Coaches were able to get their message across and the crowd of Parents and Grand Parents were able to soak it all in.

14 was the total number of individual Awards

The Championship game needed OT to be decided.

Hot 🔥 Shot, 3-pointers and Hustle Awards were some of the categories.

The full list will appear in the Carroll News

Coach Barnes and Coach Richardson along with their many assistants are wrapping up their Four Day long Camp today and the most noticeable difference is that the Families of the Campers are watching the end of the session full court games.

The teams are playing Old School 🏫 Shirts vs Skins with the teams being Coached by the current and former players.

We are in the Championship Finals now and its a safe bet that the young ones are feeling the excitement of the competition!

Today was a Heavenly type of Day for our Marion Harris! It included Family 👪, Faith and Soccer ⚽️ 🙏

I am sure that our Friend Marion had today circled on his Calendar 📅 for months now and anything that important to Marion becomes equally important for us here at OneofUs.Care.

Abingdon was the site for the day long Fellowship of Christian ✝️ Athletes – Soccerfest

Most of the FCA events are for Seniors only but the Soccerfest is open to Student Athletes from across multiple years of High School 🏫. A total of six of our Lady 👩 Cavaliers Soccer ⚽️ players were on display on Tuesday.

The Red team included Natalie Harris, Callie Harris and Ainsley Nottingham. Marion was on the side lines helping instruct the young Ladies.

The Purple Shirts 👕 also had a trio of Lady 👩 Cavaliers – Alexis Sheffrey, Karman Smith and Ashlyn Newman.

Mr. Tickle created the photo 📷 op for the six and I was happy to include him in the second picture 📷.

14 Boys from Carroll County made the trip South as well.

I am sure that someone was down there with photos 📷 of our Boys 👦 Soccer ⚽️ players and I would be thrilled to share some of those pictures 📷 as well.

Two more folks with ties 👔 to Marion – Mrs. Harris and Mr. Tickle.

Just a Mother 👩 and a Daughter thing !

Marion again, this time sharing his wisdom with the Girls 👧 in between game 2 and game 3.

For the past year three people (and their spouses) have went well out of their way to help Linda and I along our journey. In no particular order – Rick Nester, Kris Richardson and Marion Harris.

Today it was an absolute treat to make a drive 🚗 down I-81 and try my Best to frame a day for Marion that included all three of his Loves 💘. Faith, Family 👪 and Football ⚽️❤
