Lake Ridge RV Resort was today’s first stop in the search of Feel Good Moments in and around Carroll County. It was Kevin Worrell that let me know about the event and I was thrilled to show up and support the cause in any manner possible.

The number of folks that came out to show their support was the Highlight of the time spent on the Grounds. The search for proof that there are still people out there that care about one another is uplifting 🙏 in itself. I am not sure if my path will ever cross with Jason or not but if it does I will certainly let him know that he has an impressive group of Family & Friends !

Our Rising Senior went 3 for 3 in his matches, including the finale against a soon to be 70 year old from across the Pond.

The event was slated to be held on the outside courts at Va Tech but a 🌧🌦 storm forced the action 🎬 to the indoor courts. To say that it was humid indoors would be quite the understatement.

Once again the extended Jabin Fan Club were all there and happy to show their support for Carroll County High School 🏫’s #1 Tennis 🎾 player.

It’s worth noting that Jabin did not drop a set over the two days. When the MVP of the Super Bowl 🏈 gets the post game question,, he is asked what’s next ? Jabin has that one beat but that’s a story for next week !

Bill”Pappy” Meade made the Trek down from Augusta County to be my 🌽🕳 partner and much to our surprise we won our opening match! That was our only W in the tournament but that was one more than we were looking for.
