It would appear that the opponent in the opening round is the Virginia Bearcats.
The clock ⏰ is running in addition to the score being kept which would give one the impression that the two teams 🤔 get to play for a set period of time, versus the end of the game.
Game #2 of the opening pairing is underway now and the two teams appear to be evenly matched.
Patrick Henry – Glade Springs Rebels and the host team GWHS would appear to be the teams set to play next. 20-26 and 23-25 = 43/51, about as balanced as can be as the 45 minutes expires.
Not sure if they get to play a second time but one would think so. The answer would appear to be Yes and then some as the evening runs right at four hours total.
The 45 minutes put on the clock ⏰ is for 35 minutes of competition after 10 minutes of warm up time.
The second match of the night 🌙 will be Patrick Henry – Glade Springs versus George Wythe.
Thursday evening the Lady 👩 Cavaliers return to the Court down in Abingdon.
Next Tuesday the matches will take place once again back in Hillsville.
If you are looking for Cavaliers to cheer on during the Summer you have two options now – Boys 👦 Basketball 🏀 and Volleyball 🏐. I’m sure that there are others out there, just haven’t run across them yet.
