Eight Softball teams will head to the Botetourt Softball Complex in hopes of getting to be one of the four that make it back for Saturdays State Championship games in Class 1 & 2.
Class 3 will also be playing at 10 &1 outside of the Greater Richmond area.
Three games will get underway at 10am, one Semi-final from each Class and then after a short break the final 3 Semi-final games will start at 1pm. The Class 1 &2 games have been moved from the Moyer Complex in Salem this year as they are finishing up a complete overhaul of the long standing facility.
Games of interest to fans of the CCHS program include – Region 3D Champion Cave Spring and Runner-up Northside trying to meet for the Championship. Class 1 neighbors Auburn are trying to match Oklahoma with a 3-peat and Three Rivers District Champs 🏆 James River facing King William in Class 2.
Another team that appeared on the Carroll County schedule this year was Tazewell and they will be playing early versus Alan Knight’s Page County Panthers. Twenty years of history between us and the PCHS program and the Skipper who is finishing up his 42nd year.
