Another week of Cavalier Sports has come and gone but before we close the books 📚 on it I wanted to shine a light on a developing trend from the Girls 👧 Track and Field team.
Yesterday over in Floyd County was the latest opportunity for both of our track teams to participate along with 11 other schools 🏫.
The Girls placed 3rd and the Boys 5th overall and while we listed all of the results for all athletes, we then followed up with a shorter list of just the Cavaliers that placed in their events.
Now as the final step in the process let’s take a look at the day that Miss Corrie Delp finished up with.
First place in the Girls 👧 Long Jump
First place in the Girls 👧 100 Meter Dash
Second Place in the Girls 👧 4 × 100 Relay, running 🏃♂️ along with Savanah Swecker, Alexis Montgomery and Cordy Gardner.
