Wednesday is a Blank Slate but Thursday will be full of Cavaliers Action πŸŽ¬

We need to begin the post by taking the time to wish our Athletic Director Darrin Matthew’s a speedy recovery πŸ™ from Knee surgery that will have our leader out of action for a short while.

Tuesday’s slate was lost to weather and today is another off day for the Spring teams but on Thursday six contests are slated including three Soccer matches, two Tennis 🎾 matches and one Softball game. Bassett and Galax are the opponents of the day and we will do our best to chase down the results from all six contests.

It’s my understanding that a number of teams are set to have their teams pictures taken and we will gladly share any of those once Alan Worrell at the Carroll News has completed his work with them.

Despite the bitter cold πŸ₯Ά in the area our College Baseball ⚾️ team (West Virginia Tech) is slated to host a Night πŸŒ™ game up in Charleston, West Virginia which means I will be out of town today but still looking for anything happening in the World 🌎 of Cavaliers Sports.

Quick goof note from last night’s Book meeting. Brandi and Tracy were in the opposite seats by comparison to where Lauren Alley was sitting and for a brief moment I thought I had them backwards for the entire season. It was enjoyable to finally meet the Ervin’s and the Hagee’s as well as Mr. Tickle earlier in the evening.

Try and stay warm and have yourself a Great Day!

People know about Oprah’s Book Club that share books πŸ“š Here’s a look at our Writer’s Room Book Club that creates Books

Tuesday evening concluded a busy day for us in the Land of Cavaliers and the 60 minutes together was simply a treat. Not pictured but in attendance were Lauren Alley and Brandi Cochran- Mitchell.

On very short notice Paul’s Son-in-Law managed to gather up half the Coaching Staff and 60% of the Parents. The Train πŸš† has left the station πŸš‰ on the creation of Back2Back. Our goal is to finalize the book πŸ“– and present it to the team by the end of the School 🏫 year.

Today Marion introduced me to the Man behind the Curtain – Mr. Tickle

Once I found out that was someone else on the same Mission as we are – Shining a positive light on All Things Carroll County High School Sports, I had to meet him.

Mr. Tickle credits his Son Logan with starting the Facebook page that sets out to share positive news about Cavaliers present and past. We have been borrowing his work and giving him credit and we had done it often enough that I wanted to personally say Thank You. Forty minutes went by in a flash and I am already looking forward to the next time our paths cross !
