Yesterday I apparently confused some people with my message about giving up on trying to evenly divide our attention across all 11 teams as saying that we were going to stop trying all together.
I will use the analogy about a Family 👪 Reunion where the Grandmother 👵 is focusing her time and attention on the handful of relatives that aren’t in the room instead of enjoying the Family members that are actually in the room with her.
It was naive on my part to think we could cut ✂️ the Spring Cake 🎂 into 11 even pieces. We want to run stories from every direction possible but the reality is that we are going to be heavy on Girls 👧 Soccer, Varsity Softball and Boys Tennis 🎾 because we have a solid connection with those three teams.
There’s plenty of room on the Bus 🚌 for more Coaches, Team Mom’s, 👪 members & neighbors who would like to share POSITIVE thoughts and Photos with us about Carroll County Sports just let us know.
We do understand that a number of the teams have already created their own version of our site and if there’s anything we can do to show support for them we will happily do so.
Every story posted on this site is designed to be a 90 second or less read so I will wrap this one up by saying that we will continue forward with one noticeable change – just like Grandma 👵 should do, our focus will be on what we have access to our if its unbalanced then we will be okay with that.
