Alley, Nunn homer in Cavs’ win

We only caught up with a little over Half of the 9 players as Coach Talley was holding an abrevated practice but looking forward to keeping up with the team throughout the year.

The scheduled match yesterday afternoon vs Galax was scratched due to the visitors not being able to field a full team. Coach Talley hopes to replace the match with a new opponent down the road.

Both the Varsity and the JV Baseball ⚾️ games scheduled for today have been postponed. More information when it becomes available.

I don’t have to tell any parent that chases our Student Athletes around that you run up some miles and need your Car serviced more than others might. Today thar took me out to the East end of Laurel Fork where I met Charlie Quesinberry and Manuel Carmo.

Charlie was telling me that he had Paul’s Brother as a teacher in Middle School 🏫 and somehow again while in High School. Great folks that fit me in without an appointment and were just uplifting to visit with.
