Our baseball ⚾️ team has safely arrived at the Minor League park in Charleston, West Virginia and our opening act is currently in the sixth inning of their game. The humorist in me wants to call it the JV game ahead of the night 🌙 cap as we play in Prime Time under the lights.
Two lesser known institutions called Ohio State University and Marshall University. We appreciate them both for being the opening act to our Davis & Elkins vs West Virginia Tech Golden Bears 🐻.
The Carroll County Sports update here is that Coach Nester has successfully moved their Friday away game @ Bassett to Thursday due to a less than encouraging Friday forecast. The JV game will still be played at 5pm as well but will be moved down to the Elementary school .
