Each group that is involved with Oneofus.care had a table at the Banquet room and the photo π· above was the Carroll County table. We tried to include something from every aspect of our things down here and I feel We accomplished that.
Paul’s Son-in-Law felt the table was missing something and he said it was a Duke cap. He loves Duke so for him we found two Blue Devils Caps!
The T-shirt π was hot off the presses from the Siegal Center where we won π some type of ball game or something.
Sunday was an Amazing Day in the World π of Oneofus.care and we need to Thank some special Carroll County folks that played a roll in the festivities. First, Brandi’s Dad produced the Art Work for the Tables and the Programs for the event. Both added a touch of class to the event!
Marion Harris spoke very elegantly about his efforts with the Carroll County Sports Report and I had an opportunity to introduce Mike Cochran to Kris and Paula Richardson (yes, I called them Paul’s Daughter and Paul’s Son-in-Law).
We were able to announce our plans to produce a Basketball π Book π about the Carroll County High School π« Girls Basketball team.
Mike is one of the people that has contributed money π° to the production of the book, Ron has signed on to be the one to actually produce the book, Kris has taken Point on the content of the book and we will be the ones steering the ship π’ throughout the journey.
The picture π· above was taken tonight at Page County High School π« in Shenandoah, Virginia as the Lady Panthers opened their season with a 2-1 victory over Clarke County. It was the first game played under lights in the schools history and the first time they played with a freshly built Pavillion covering their Batting Cage area. The Pavillion was our project that we just completed up North.
Final thought – can someone find a way to get me in the same room as Mr. Tickle ? I appreciate his efforts and would like to tell him that face to face.
It would appear that the next time one of the Cavaliers will be in action is Thursday afternoon but the next few weeks will be filled with a flowing schedule due to weather conditions. We will make it a point to try and update the school schedule every couple of Days until the dust settles.
We have had March 14th circled on the Calender for weeks now as it marked opening Day for the Carroll County Lady Cavaliers softball team. Sadly Mother Nature has forced the game to be rescheduled for a later date which has yet to be determined.
It’s Spring Sports season time and two words that we will hear a great deal – Weather Permitting.
Tomorrow will now have to be recreated but I found an excuse to go hang out with Brandi’s Dad for part of it so its already going to be a Great Day in the Land of Cavaliers!
