The center of the Cavaliers Universe – Home of Omega Man 👨, also known as Brandi’s Dad

Yesterday afternoon I was in need of some last minute artwork and such for our Sunday Banquet. Omega Man said come on down and he would fix me up. I learn so much about Carroll County everytime I am in the shop that I am close to finding an excuse to stop by.

Everything that I needed was created right in front of me and I packed everything up in a box 📦 and headed off to the Softball complex. A few hours later I made it to the House 🏠 and in my excitement to show everything to Lin I realized that three of the items weren’t in the box. A quick search of the parking lot and the car 🚗 came up empty and left me feeling silly.

Today is a West Virginia Tech loop so on my way to Beckley I stopped in to the shop in hopes of getting it tomorrow before heading up to Richmond. Ron took less than five minutes to recreate what had vannished and did so without making me feel ridiculous. I had one job, carrying out a box and then getting it inside my place.

On my way out I asked Brandi’s Dad 👨 if he was okay with being my Hero and the response was I’m not a Hero but I am Omega Man.

While in the shop Omega Man introduced our site to one of his regulars and we spent those five minutes discussing the Goal of the Site.

We are trying to create a Safe Place 🙏 we’re people can go in the morning and spend a few minutes and see Sunshine. Sunshine without having all that is wrong in the World 🌎 to sort through to find it.

The stories are designed to be quick and lighthearted reads and we mix in the photos 📷 we have available to us. On my way into town today I passed by a Church sign that said – God doesn’t play favorites, Neither should we.

That’s one of the Goals – to provide coverage without showing favoritism to any one person or any one sport.

Another thing to share is that we don’t value Wins and Losses. That’s not what we are trying to focus on at all.

A great example of that is the game being played on Friday in Richmond. We hope that the Lady Cavaliers win the game but if somehow they fall short I will ask Omega Man to create us a box of State Runner Up T-shirts 👕 and get them to Lauren Alley and her teammates because those Amazing Young Ladies have already done so much for the school 🏫 and the Community that Friday should just be for their reward for all of the years they have put into this ride. We should be able to measure how much they have done for the Spirits by the number of Fans in Richmond.
