Athletic Director Darrin Mathews called the Law to the High School this morning for all of the right reasons. A trio of officers escorted the Boys Swim 🏊♂️ Team and the Wrestling Team to the Highway this afternoon as they begin their chase of competing for State Championships.
The Swim 🏊♂️ Team will begin their competition tomorrow morning from 9am to Noon in Richmond in the preliminary stages. Any participants that punch a ticket to the Finals will be back in the Pool at 5pm Friday.
The Wrestling Team will not actually be leaving until the end of the school day being Salem is a whole lot closer than Richmond.
Everyone appeared to be in High Spirits but sadly with the distance between Swim RVA and the Salem Civic Center is will be pretty tough for anyone to show crossover support for our Cavaliers.
We will do our best to provide all of the coverage on both events that we can gather.
