It will be Carroll County vs Radford for the next three days on the basketball 🏀 court.
Tonight it will be the JV Boys and Varsity Boys taking on their Bobcats counterparts with the tip taking place at 5:30pm
All square at 11-11 after the first quarter. Radford out early but Cavs settled quickly to take their own lead. Five different Cavaliers scored in the first 8 minutes.
Radford supporters not bashful in staying on the refs early but with that said its nice to see as many of them in our gym. Hoping that they all return tomorrow night.
Second quarter was filled with runs as the Cavaliers scored the first five points before Radford answered with 10 straight. Isaiah Easter closed out the scoring with a late basket to trim the CCHS deficit to three points, 21-18.
Cavs have played well in spurts but are having a bit of trouble keeping the Bobcats off the offensive glass.
Fourteen minutes left to play so there’s plenty of time left for the home team to capture the W.
Hayden Jackson had to switch jerseys and is now wearing #54 and 3-pointer just before the end of the frame pulled the Cavs to within five at 34-29.
