While we will always call our scoring Unofficial when we post it there was cause to smile late Tuesday night when we had the Varsity Girls team scoring 22 points in the 3rd quarter but the score board only credited the team with 20.
When the post game handshake took place the score showing was 78-30 and it wasn’t until shortly after that we received an email that showed the final score as 80-30. It turns out that both official books also showed a total of 80 for the home team.
Once again a Huge round of applause for Alyssa Ervin 👏 reaching the 1,000 point milestone tonight in that above mentioned 3rd Quarter !
The Lady Cavaliers will return to action on Friday night 🌙 when they visit the Highlanders up in Salem.
