



The first quarter proved to be one of streaks as CCHS scored the first six points before AHS posted nine unanswered and finally the Cavs scored the final five.
Seven minutes in the books π! With the Cavaliers leading 11-9



It’s certainly worth noting that the Cavs are being cheered on by a noticeable group of supporters !


The teams have headed to the locker room with the Cavaliers leading 18-14. After scoring the last five points in the opening frame the Cavs added the first five in the second. The 10-0 run was sparked as much by solid team defense as the ability to score.
AHS did not score in the second quarter until 1:31 remained in the half.
Isiah Easter leads the team in scoring with six points while both Jay Burnette and Blake Reed have added five for the Cavs. Halfway to a road victory!

3RD QUARTER :
Timeout Cavs (3:17) Tied 23-23
Bend but don’t break is best description for the Cavaliers in the third quarter. After AHS tied the score the Cavs refused to fall behind. CCHS leads 27-23 after three!

Fourth Quarter :
29-29 with 5:09 left on the clock β°
Gym is starting to fill in nicely










The Cavaliers close out the contest in a BIG WAY!
Easy enough to point to the 30 seconds of play that gave the Cavs the victory. Leading by four at 33-29, Blake Reed feathered a perfect pass to a cutting Landon Puckett for a back door lay-up. A few seconds later ball hawking Dane Leonard stole the ball and finished the play with an AND ONE.
The lead went from four to nine in a flash then Puckett went 2 for 2 from the free throw line. The Cavs closed the contest on a 12-2 run, guaranteeing the Bus π ride home will be a bit more enjoyable.
AHS tied the game a number of times but never regained the lead in the second half.
