If Laurel Fork had a Mayor it would be Hagen Giles

The Metropolis that we call home 🏑 is Blessed to have Mr. Hagen Giles leading the way out here in Laurel Fork. As we enter our third year as residents here in Carroll County it felt like a Great Time to acknowledge the effort that Mr. G puts into both his role as General Manager of Olde Mill Golf β›³ Resort and as a leader in our community.

It was Hagen that pointed me in the direction of the service that we are trying hard to provide for the residents of Carroll County!

A tip of the Ole Ball Cap to our beloved Community Leader. Please keep up the outstanding work πŸ™

Cavaliers outscore James River 199-104 in taking 3 of 4 contests from the Knights

On what always promises to be a very long day for the Student Athletes from CCHS the Cavaliers brought home three out of four possible victories against the James River High School Knights.

On the Girls side the tally was 99-26 with all 25 Cavs seeing plenty of action and 18 of them scoring between the two contests.

100-78 was the final margin on the Boys side as the Knights held off the Varsity Cavaliers to salvage one victory on the night. It’s worth noting that both of the JV teams played a quarter where they held the Knights scoreless. The Boys in the first quarter (11-0) and the Girls (17-0) in their second quarter.

Please check out the four individual stories on the Games.
