





One day after dispatching Radford on the road the Lady Cavaliers did a quick turnaround and are now set to compete in a day long Battle of the State festival being held at T.W. Andrews High School in High Point, North Carolina.

CCHS will be playing in Game #5 of 8 against Salisbury. Game 4 has entered overtime so the 4:00 tip will be pushed back a smidgen.

The Lady Hornets have posted an 11-2 record to date and are 4-0 in their district.

3:53 is the end time for the previous game and the warm up clock ⏰ was set for just 7 minutes. The goal is to try and stick to the schedule 📅 as much as possible. Looks like we will starting pretty close to on time.








After falling behind early (4-2) the Cavaliers stormed back to grap a 12-6 lead after the first eight minutes. Alyssa Ervin scored 10 points during the run.
2ND QUARTER :
Cavs push it to 20-9 quickly and the Hornets take a timeout.




While the crowd is somewhat small its rather vocal and is reacting to every call as well as every perceived non-call. Salisbury Head Coach Drew a technical foul on the way to the locker room. CCHS should be shooting free throws to start the quarter.
THIRD QUARTER :
1 of 2 Technical FT’s were made by Cavs.

Hornets pulled within six points near the end of the 3rd quarter before Lauren Alley calmly beat the buzzer with a smooth 3-pointer from the top of the key
FOURTH QUARTER :
Cavs 44-34 as that action remains chippy on both sides. 5:07 left in the contest. Refs continue to hear it from the crowd throughout.
