My wife’s love of Volleyball 🏐 is what sent me on the drive down to Patrick Henry – Glade Springs a few months ago. Linda had flown out to Missouri to take care of her 84 year old Mother as she had fallen and broken her leg.
Suddenly I found myself with a little extra time on my hands and before I knew it I had joined the band of highly dedicated fans that criss-crossed the Region to watch both the JV and Varsity Volleyball 🏐 teams play.
While Lin didn’t return home until the night after the Cavaliers season ended she was able to join me in finishing out the playoffs. It was by chance that we bumped into Coach at the Salem Civic Center on Championship Saturday.
