The Wheels on the Bus kept going Round and Round for the Volleyball 🏐 Cavaliers

Now that the Volleyball season is officially over its time to look at the most impressive statistics from the 2022-2023 seasons for the Junior Varsity and Varsity squads.

While there were plenty of Kills, Dinks, Assists and Blocks to dive into I would like to take a look at the number of miles driven by the team and the family and friends supporting them over the past few months.

There were 12 trips taken with 8 of them being combined for both teams and 2 each individually.

Both teams traveled down to Patrick County – Glade Springs for tournaments on consecutive weekends back in early September and the JV headed back to James River for the postseason while the Varsity traveled to Tunstall last night.

The JV teams traveled an unofficial total of 693 miles ONE WAY and the Varsity landed on 680 miles ONE WAY. Someone traveling to support both of the teams would have logged 854 miles to do so (1,708 total).

Those numbers don’t include Game tickets or concessions / meals on the road. Don’t forget the number of Home games that also require admission yet night after night the Parents and Grandparents packed up their vehicles and made the drives without hesitation to be in the stands.

While the young Ladies deserve an absolute pat on the back for their efforts πŸ‘ I think the road warriors that followed them around do just as well.

A tip of the Cap to All!
