This Volleyball 🏐 speaks volumes!

The Carroll County High School Cavaliers have a successful Volleyball 🏐 program. When you stop βœ‹ to ponder just how successful it’s a quick answer you’re going to get if you check out the trophy πŸ† case in the lobby outside of the Gymnasium.

On average a high school VB team will play roughly 20 games per season with that number going up slightly if you find success in the post season.

Coaching in 400 games is a HUGE accomplishment on its own so that makes winning 400 VB games just this side of astounding.

Coach Edwards shows no signs of slowing down so they might need to make room for a 500 Wins VB!

Congratulations on reaching such a historical mark !!!

The Mother of All Region Road Trips – Hillsville to Covington for some Volleyball πŸ

It’s 123 miles from school 🏫 to school 🏫 and for the Parents and Fans of our Carroll County High Cavilers it comes on the heels of a 99 mile jaunt (each way) to James River High School on Tuesday.

One perk to the trek today is you pass through some Americana places like Eagle Rock , Iron Gate and Alleghany Highlands. The bus pulled in from Hillsville at 4:03pm making for a rather long day for the team and the fan base but hopefully it will be an enjoyable ride home for all involved.

CCHS enters the match with a 12-2 record overall with a 2-1 mark in the Region. The squad will look to complete the Road Week sweep while Alleghany looks to secure its first victory of the season.

Check back for a later post on the actual match with the Varsity taking the Court 20 minutes after the JV match concludes.
