All that stood in the way of Perfection was a rematch versus Duke and a title game against Kansas. Duke wasn’t the brand back then that they are now and Coach K had yet to capture his first Natty.

Christian Latener, Bobby Hurley and Grant Hill teamed up to pull off one of greatest upsets in basketball 🏀 history and then two nights later cut ✂️ down the nets after dispatching Roy Williams and Kansas.

The talented trio would return the following season and capture their own back to back titles by taking down Michigan’s Fab Five.
