I received a phone call from Chip Crabill down at ESPN-1240 in Waynesboro last Friday asking if we could try to fill in for him with the radio broadcasts of the Stuarts Draft D-Backs for a week. After a quick look at the calendar to see if we could squeeze anymore in, the next thing I knew… Crystal Clear Delivery went on a fun excursion. Joining the adventure was quite the cast of characters:
- Jerry Carter – Our play-by-play radio announcer for ESPN 1240.
- Alan Knight – Providing the color coverage for ESPN 1240.
- Bill Meade – Crystal Clear Delivery’s prime time reporter.
- Rebecca Carter – CCD’s photographer and hostess.
- Diamond – CCD’s mascot.
Game #1 -We ventured to Montezuma, Virginia to watch the Stuarts Draft Diamondbacks take on the Montezuma Braves. The Braves were down 2-1 in the series, trying to force a game 5. Stay tuned for more posts that will include Bill Meade’s story and Rebecca Carter’s photos!
