In The Panter Gym on Saturday for the Panther Palooza [ 2 of 17]

Join the Excitement

The event in the gym will take place between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. The third leg of the Triple Crown will include a special twist. Not only will the participants be matching their shooting skills with each other but against Page News & Courier Sports Editor Bill Meade.

Mr.Meade has agreed to run a column the following week listing the names of ALL that defeat him! That should be reason enough to dust off your sneakers and take to practicing!

This event will count for one-third of the scoring in the Chase for Mr.Page County & Mrs./Miss Page County. Don’t forget we will have 3 separate age groups and both male & female winners.

1. High School & Under / 2. Age 19-49 / 3. 50 & Over

2011 Panther Palooza MVP’s – 1st Up Clyde Freeze of Freeze Fencing

October 22nd & 23rd

Time to say Thank You to our first Palooza MVP. Mr. Freeze played a HUGE roll in our efforts to raise enough money to help install the new softball fence. His efforts put us into the starting blocks and allowed us to hit the ground running!

A tip of the cap to Mr. Clyde Freeze!!!

Monday Night Meeting – 6:00 P.M. @ PCHS

While I hope that everyone is enjoying their Sunday afternoon I wanted to invite folks out to Page County High School for a meeting tomorrow (Monday) night at 6:00 p.m. It will be my hope to answer as many questions as people are willing to ask as we head into the week of the event. It will be a town hall type meeting where everyone can come and go as they please.

Topics that will be discussed include the need for volunteers, a complete list of the events and the levels of competition categories. Hope to see you at the school on Monday!
