Madison County traveled to Riverheads and swept the home standing Red Pride 3-0 Tuesday Night. The defeat closes out an impressive 2009 campaign for Head Coach Whitney Dove and her Gladiators.

This concludes the 2009 Volleyball season for the Shenandoah District. Congrats to all of the players and coaches for their success both on and off the court.
Region B Volleyball gets underway at four sites but our focus will be on the two matches that have Shenandoah District teams squaring off with Bull Run District teams. Match 1 has Madison County traveling over to Greenville to face the Red Pride of Riverheads at 7:00 P.M.
Appomattox County claimed the top spot with a team total of 260 but it was the Central Falcons finishing second with a score of 224.5.

11 teams competed in the Cheer Region Finals, including all 6 of the Shenandoah District squads. Strasburg finished 3RD with a 219.5 while Clarke County scored 193.0 to secure 4TH place.

Page County (147-6TH), Riverheads (137-7TH), Buffalo Gap (131-8TH), Stonewall Jackson (122.5-9TH) and Luray (121-10TH) rounded out the results for the District.
