The end of a 30 year coaching career coming to an end as Assistant Coach James “Jimmy” Burke retires. A salute to Burke was part of the pre game ceremonies. A tip of the Cap to Coach Burke for a life time of commitment to PCHS.

Page County had an early dismissal on Friday which gave Coach Comer and his staff two extra hours to prepare for visiting Stonewall Jackson. First on the list at 1:30- check to see if striping the gridiron is an option after all of the rain.

 The answer was a resounding No. There was still plenty of prep work to be done though by Coach Comer and P.E partner Coach Alan Knight. The next stop was the Lunch meeting in Shenandoah at Cousin Boogies. More game planning for the 7:30 kickoff that is now less than five hours away.

                                       So just how muddy was the field at 2:00 P.M. ?
