WOODSTOCK – On a night where both Luray and Page County pushed back home matches in hopes of getting their new gyms ready Central highlighted the Shenandoah District VB schedule by hosting Class A Final Four participant Strasburg. The match was the first of the season for Central Head Coach Allison Huckstep and her Lady Falcons.
Strasburg was playing its third match of the season and the court time appeared invaluable during the opening game of the match. The Rams captured game 1 by a final score of 25-11 and then repeated the effort in Game 2 by the identical score.
Central appeared much more comfortable on the court in the third and final game of the match as the Falcons pushed Strasburg for a number of points on the way to falling 25-19. Central returns to action Thursday when they travel to Handley to compete in the Handley Tournament.
