LURAY – The lights were still on at Bulldog Field when I made it back to town and sure enough Luray AD Don Ehlers was locking up the park. The good news for the
homestanding Bulldogs was the Final Score of 35-33.
Mr. Ehlers mentioned the highlight of the contest was back to back kickoff returns for TD’s. Link will be added once we know who was at the game.

Woodstock – Central High School plays their home opener tonightwhen the Falcons welcome the Broadway Gobblers to town. Central is 2-0 and the Northern Virginia Daily should have coverage for the 7:30 start.
Quicksburg – Stonewall Jackson (0-2) welcomes George Mason to town in a 7:30 start. Once again the NVD will have coverage.
Luray – The Strasburg Rams travel to Luray (0-1) for the Bulldogs home opener. The NVD and the Page News will be in Bulldog Stadium.
Covington – Road Trip for the Page County Panthers (0-1) as they head Southwest to play at Covington.
Swoope – Buffalo Gap (0-2) welcomes Wilson Memorial to town. Both the News Leader and the News Virginian should have coverage.
Riverheads (1-1) travels down I-81 to challenge Parry McClure.
