The trip to Woodstock : A game of Duck, Duck, small mouth bass…

Mother Nature is showing theVBL that she has not lost a step over the years. Rebecca and I met the team over in Woodstock for what was our only trip to Central High School. I say was because it rained so hard and for so long that we get to head back on the 4TH of July to try once more to play the River Bandits.

Stu and his team suffered their fifth schedule push back of the young season and VBL rules state the game is to be played on the next open date on the schedule, hence we play @ Woodstock on Saturday 7/4/09.

It’s Ness night at the Ball Field. Retiring the #21 on 06/12/09…

Our Augusta County rival Staunton Braves are here and we are prepared the honor Baseball Director of Operations Lawrence Nesslerodt. Ness put Generals baseball back on the map with his incredible 3-year run as Skipper.

The walk has been completed !

Rebecca and I have just completed the 13 mile trek from the John Moxie Stadium in Staunton to Fishburne Military School Park here in Waynesboro. We left Gypsy Hill Park at 7:38 A.M. and arrived at the Fish at 1:00 P.M.

Rebecca took a number of pics along the way that she will post after we catch our breathe.

    5 hours & 22 minutes with three stops…
