Pictures & Notes from Wednesday Night in Salem, Va./ Great Line from Top Gun!

As I mentioned last night I was heading in to Lewis Gale Stadium at Salem Memorial Park to take more notes on items that would make a night watching Generals baseball more enjoyable. We have already added a number of items for our first season that will make the night more fun.

As I work on a Waynesboro Wish List I can’t help but think back to one of my All-Time favorite movie lines. Early in the movie Top Gun where the Commander Tom “Stinger” Jordan (James Tolkan) tells Tom Cruise:

“Son, your EGO is writing checks that your body can’t cash.”

Holding that thought in your head, we made a wish list for 2009 and then one for 2010+.

Here are some pics from the Carolina League’s Salem Red Sox park. Please share your thoughts with me/us…

Hey Crystal, Can we afford one of these ?
